ANNUAL CHRISTMAS CONCERT
• K- 12
• Held at 7 p.m in the School Gymnasium generally the last week of school before the break
• Donations to the food bank accepted

CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS
• Kiddie parade held at 11 a.m on July 1 downtown
• Dino dig, ball toss games for kids
• Entertainment
• Free Hot Dog lunch and Canada Day birthday cake
• Held at the historic CN Station at the Pumpkin Park

CHRISTMAS LIGHT-UP
• The last Friday of November, the Smoky Lake & District Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Smoky Lake FCSS present the Annual Christmas Light-up with special events held throughout the Town

H.A.KOSTASH AWARDS NIGHT AND CONVOCATION
• Held in September in the School Gymnasium

• Generally held the Saturday of the May Victoria Day long weekend at the Smoky Lake Agricultural Complex- date may change

PITCH-IN WEEK
• Due to weather permitting, the annual Town clean-up is held during the first week in May in conjunction with the Carillion Highway Clean Up
• Local groups are encouraged to apply for Town honorariums for Pitch In Week

SENIOR’S GARAGE SALE
• Held on Saturday of the Pumpkin Fair
• At the Smoky Lake Senior Citizens Drop In Center
• Features live entertainment and coffee/pie social

SMOKY LAKE ANNUAL STAMPEDE
• Held every August long weekend at the Stampede Grounds- north on Highway #855 across Highway 28- turn left, on right hand side next to Golf Course and Holy Trinity Church
• Children’s Bike Give-away, mini chuckwagons, Rodeo Clowns, Food Booths and more

SMOKY LAKE FARMER’S MARKET
• Season opens in April and closes in mid-December
• It runs every Saturday from 10 a.m to 12 noon at the Smoky Lake Complex foyer
• Seasonal products include greenhouse vegetables, bedding plants, honey, home baking, eggs, farm-raised chickens/turkeys, pickles, jams/jellies, garden fruits/vegetables, B.C. fruits and crafts
• Special markets are held during Easter, Mother’s Day, Heritage Days, Pumpkin Fair and Christmas time

SMOKY LAKE FIREWORKS DISPLAY
• Held Sunday night at approximately 11 p.m of the August long weekend on museum hill

SMOKY LAKE HERITAGE DAY PARADE
• Held each Saturday of the August long weekend – starting time 11 a.m
• Parade begins at the Complex and ends at the historical CN Station downtown

SMOKY LAKE HOLUBKA DANCERS ANNUAL CONCERT
• Held first Saturday of May( date may change)
• Admission by donation

SMOKY LAKE IRON CRUISERS SHOW AND SHINE
• Held on Saturday of the Pumpkin Fair
• Over 250 cars of every description featured on main street and all of downtown Smoky Lake

SMOKY LAKE LION’S PANCAKE BREAKFAST
• Held every August long weekend at the Lion’s Playground besides the Curling rink

SMOKY LAKE METIS CROSSING
• Located in the Victoria District National Historical Site
• National Aboriginal Day Celebrations – June 19
• Music Jamboree – the third weekend in July
• Metis Crossing Voyage Days – last weekend in August
• Opens May long weekend to September long weekend 11 a.m to 6 p.m daily
• Zip lines, site tours, facility rentals for social gatherings

SMOKY LAKE PUMPKIN FAIR AND WEIGH-OFF
• Held the first Saturday in October every year
• Main event at the Agricultural Complex with free shuttle bus services to and from downtown
• Food court at the hall and fair grounds
• Farmer’s Market at the Complex grounds and at the School Gymnasium
• Threshing Bee on museum grounds
• Pumpkin Drop – 5 p.m at the fair grounds
• Dance at White Earth Hall
• Golf Tournament on Sunday (weather permitting)

SPRING CELEBRATION-DESSERT AND MUSIC
First Baptist Church of Smoky Lake brings you musical talent, door prizes, refreshments and sing-a-long
• Held at the Ukrainian National Hall the first week of May

Ongoing at the various recreational facilities during the operating seasons

STUDIO 28 ART GALLERY
• Main show is held during the Pumpkin Fair – first weekend in October at the Ukrainian National Hall

VICTORIA HOME GUARD HISTORICAL SOCIETY
• Annual dinner held in May at the Smoky Lake Complex
• Live entertainment, silent auction
• Formal or country formal dress attire
