Smoky Lake Graduation 2020

Smoky Lake Graduation has been canceled due to COVID 19. In response we are organizing on Saturday,May 16th a PARADE of GRADUATES to honor and recognize the SMOKY LAKE GRAD CLASS OF 2020 for all their hard work! This event has been approved by The Town of Smoky Lake And H.A.Kostash School.
Parade will be starting at 7pm . Grads will work their way through the streets of Smoky Lake ( map below) residents can cheer and celebrate from their front lawns with messages and signs wishing the grads well.
We will ensure provincial mandate of social distancing is meet. At this point, grads will be in their individual vehicles ( family members welcome)

Rural families and the public can cheer on the grads from White Earth Street( Main Street) . These people will also need to practice social distancing.

This isn’t what any of us dreamed of for our children when we thought of them graduating including the grads themselves but let’s ban together as a community to bring some smiles to some disappointed faces and some cheer to the residents of Smoky Lake and surrounding area! So if you know someone graduating or even if you don’t and want to do something kind, helpline the streets for these deserving graduates 🎓 ❤️
